The Department of Agronomy and Horticulture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers the online Plant Breeding and Genetics Professional Certificate to provide professionals the training they need to advance their careers, improve their work productivity, and further their understanding of the cutting-edge technology and methods used for plant breeding and genetics. Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs) can particularly benefit from this program—in addition to learning new skills, all the modules in the program earn CCAs continuing education units (CEUs).
Designed for busy professionals, the practical and thorough coursework can be completed entirely online. It is not required for learners to visit the UNL campus.
